Every day the web space becomes more important to our customers and to our business. It is a space that we have been in for well over a decade.
Our online offering revolves around a team of five web development specialists who we believe are some of the best in the business. They might be often referred to affectionately as geeks but they are sensational!
The two organisers of the web department, Aaron Morrison and Xupan Jiang, have both been with Benefitz for years. They have grown with our business. It is their job to work with account managers to ensure our customers are 110% happy with the web design and development work we are doing for them.
Our web team’s forte is strategy and following this through to implementation with the support of our creative team and clever programmers. Our three skilled PHP programmers are certainly our point of difference. Most web design businesses will out-source this aspect of the project, often giving up control. Our programmers have developed our BWEB platform, and are constantly refining and upgrading it. In short, they build the backend of every web project we undertake, whether that is a simple site, a simple APP, or more advanced and technical projects.
The Benefitz team can also assist in the Social Media, Search Engine Optimisation and Google Adwords spaces. Benefitz online offering is completed by our comprehensive hosting service. We have our own servers, housed off-site in a secure environment, where we host the hundreds of websites we have developed and continue to develop.
Eriksens Global came to Benefitz for a new website as the system for their existing website only gave them limited access. Our web team set up a new website on BWEB, our bespoke CMS (content management system), giving the Eriksens team full control to make changes on the website, and also gave the website a design refresh.
Westlake Boys High School wanted to take their alumni webpage and turn it into a dedicated stand-alone website that would make it easy for past pupils, staff and extended family to connect. Our Benefitz web team designed and built the Westlakers website with a polished landing page, clear navigation and an easy-to-use admin area. Our BWEB content management system makes it simple for the client to edit content, create events and add updates from alumni.
When three of the North Shore's progressive business associations – Devonport, Takapuna & Milford – got together to create a brand with a goal to increase tourism visitors to their area they engaged the Benefitz team to help them create the brand and then roll out the initial items needed at launch-date. These items included the logo/brand, a website and then a 12 page DL brochure to put in the hands of tourists. The Benefitz Account Management, Design, Web Development and Print teams all played important parts in helping to bring this all to reality!
Suss & Grace wanted a place to showcase their home staging portfolio and attract new clients. Our web team delivered with a simple responsive site that lets Suss & Grace's work shine. They can now upload their latest projects onto the site and receive enquiries from potential clients through the website. Another Benefitz web project well done!
As well as being the proud publisher of North Shore's Channel Magazine, Benefitz is also home to the team of web whizzes behind channelmag.co.nz. We recently gave the website a complete makeover; refreshing the look, modernising the layout and making it even more user friendly. As well as creating the website, we are also involved in graphic design and social media management for Channel, helping the team deliver their content to the right people, in the right way.
