Benefitz is well-known for pushing the boundaries in terms of leading edge technology and we’ve done it again this year with the installation of a 2.6 metres wide direct to fabric printer, the Mutoh VJ-2628TD.
This Mutoh, one of three added to the mix recently, is a dye sublimation printer that prints very high quality on a range of fabrics and is one of the biggest fabric printers in the country.
The new Mutoh VJ-2628TD is designed for several non-stretch fabric applications such as POP signage, trade show graphics, fine art prints, banners, flags and fashion items.
"Most others in the market who can genuinely print using the dye sublimation method on to fabrics are restricted up to the 1.6 metre size," says Benefitz Director Dallas Bennett. "With our new Mutoh VJ-2628TD we can print to over 2.6 metres wide so the potential for big fabric projects is endless. We are excited by the possibilities as we believe our customers will be. Flags are clearly a big market but fabric is increasingly being used for exhibition, display and signage and we believe being able to print this larger size is essential."
Fabric is set to be big business at Benefitz!
