We believe that this volume offset machinery combined with our Xerox digital machinery provides the best one stop solution in the market. Our Xerox machinery provides the solution for up to 1500 to 2000 sheets and for variable quantity or data projects. The Truepress Hybrid then is very efficient for print jobs from 1500 through to around 15,000 to 20,000. The Komori 5 colour then provides the perfect solution for projects from 15,000 through to 500,000 and more.

Benefitz broke new ground for printing technology in New Zealand with
the installation of a brand new Hybrid Offset Machine – the Screen
Truepress – in January. The press combines the efficiency of the set-up
time associated with digital printing with the process and quality of
offset printing. Very simply it images synthetic printing plates on the
press very quickly and then prints with conventional printing inks.
Totally integrated and automatic.

KOMORI NL528 OFFSET
– 20,000 to 500,000!
The true workhorse in our Volume Offset Printing area, the Komori NL528 press can print a sheet size of up to 720 x 510mm and 15,000 sheets per hour. Its versatility doesn’t stop there. The Komori has five print units so can print up to 5 colours in one pass. That can be cyan, magenta, yellow and black plus a special colour or an overgloss or seal. We purchased the machine brand new in 2005 from Komori agents in New Zealand, CPI Graphics, and it hasn’t missed a beat.
HEIDELBERG GTO52
– Stationery, business forms, 1-3 colour, numbers ,perf
It’s not the prettiest or newest printing machine in the Benefitz
stable but it’s one of the best. It knocks over stationery projects,
envelopes, business forms and NCR books in no time, is very
cost-effective and can also number and perforate.
Our GTO52 is a 2-colour printing machine with a maximum sheet
size of SRA3.
