Mimaki… nothing less than 1440dpi
During October and November three brand new Mimaki large format and grand format printing machines have been installed at the Benefitz on Constellation Drive print facility.
“The Mimaki’s are latest technology state-of-the-art machines that will take our business to another level,” explains Benefitz Director Dallas Bennett. “They all print up to 1440dpi which is virtually photo-quality resolution. The machines they have superceeded only printed to a maximum of 720dpi.”
The three new machines include a 3.2 metre wide grand format printing machine and there are two 1.6 metre wide large format machines.
“We understand that we are the only company in New Zealand at present who can print to over three metres wide at this high resolution,” adds Dallas Bennett. “We can print massive images at virtual photo quality resolution.”
“Over the last 18 months our team at Benefitz have been the big movers in producing big images for display, event and architectural applications. This Mimaki machinery will take the possibilities to a completely new level. Throw in the print quality of our five metre wide Scitex XLJet Premium machine and our Scitex Flatbed and we have the best grand format solutions in the country by far.”
The Benefitz Mimaki machines print on a whole range of substrates, including vinyl, backlit vinyl, adhesive vinyl, mesh, fabric, canvas, paper – just about anything.
