Benefitz sign team @ Bayleys, Takapuna

Benefitz has provided the total solution for signage at the new Bayleys North Shore Residential office in Takapuna.

After many years at 16 Northcroft Street in Takapuna, Bayleys Residential had outgrown the premises so they decided to relocate just along the road to the corner of Northcroft and Auburn Streets. The site, which was previously a motor vehicle dealership, is an excellent location and Sue Stanaway of Bayleys was keen to use innovative signage to take advantage of the profile of the site. While most of the signage was normal for a project of this type – including frosting, coloured vinyl, computer cut vinyl and three dimensional lettering – Sue was keen to make a real statement with the showroom which was to serve as their auction room.

The challenge was to convert the showroom from a glass ‘fishbowl’ into a functional auction room. Benefitz designer Lee Darby worked closely with Sue Stanaway to create a theme that could be applied to the windows which would make the building interesting from outside and functional from the inside. What they came up with was a ‘people’ theme that provides the perfect solution.

A combination of printed vinyl, coloured vinyl and Hexis frosted vinyl have been used to create the look. All installation and application was undertaken by Benefitz.

“I know Sue was thrilled with all the signage,” says Benefitz Managing Director Aidan Bennett. “Due to the massive undertaking of shifting a business of that size, she was keen to get a cost-effective solution and that’s exactly what we ended up providing. It looks fantastic.”
