The New Business Channel Magazine

Hot on the heals of the success of Channel Magazine, Benefitz has launched a new business magazine for the North Shore –
The Business Channel.

For many years this market had been served by a publication called Enterprise, which was published by the North Shore’s council funded business development agency, Enterprise North Shore.
The size and the quality of the magazine had reduced over time.
With the birth of the new Auckland Council (the Super City), Enterprise North Shore has become part of Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Ltd (ATEED). The team at ATEED were keen to launch a new magazine and had seen what Benefitz had achieved with Channel Magazine.
“It was a thrill to be given the opportunity,” says Benefitz Managing Director Aidan Bennett. “The key to the whole exercise is the strong database of virtually all the business people on the North Shore held by ATEED. So a quality magazine, with good content was required. We were flattered to be entrusted with the project.
“The final issue of Enterprise was published in February and was 16 pages. So we are thrilled that the first issue of The Business Channel (featuring Sealegs on the cover, left) was 44 pages and will grow further as business people north of the bridge get as excited as we have been about the magazine. The magazine is essentially bi-monthly, with five issues to be produced each year. These will be February, May, July, September and November.”
Over 13,000 copies of The Business Channel are distributed via the strong database and to cafes and business throughout the North Shore region.
