Massive Printed Images for Impact
The
team at Benefitz have the perfect solution that allows the use of big
printed images for signage, display and architectural applications.
This ability was on display recently with the printing and installation
of two 10 metres by 4 metres images on the Bruce mason centre exterior
wall in Takapuna.
“Being the only player in the local market that can print wider than 3.2 metres is a big advantage,” explains Benefitz Director Dallas Bennett. “With our HP Scitex XP5300 machine we can print 5 metres wide and any length at resolutions that are truly superb. This means that our machines are not only suitable for billboard printing, they can be used for signage, display and architectural applications as well. With the sharp resolution they can be used for closer up interior solutions as well as exterior.”
Benefitz ESR Tensioned Railing system
“Hand in hand with this printing capability is our excellent method of installation, the Benefitz ESR Tensioned Railing System,” adds Dallas Bennett. “The ESR system is a very easily installed frame which tensions the printed image and is very tidy. This framing is available for both interior and exterior applications. The Bruce Mason Centre were keen to utilise their massive wall in Takapuna to promote their shows. Their requirement, however, was a structure that is unobtrusive and would not do any damage to the building. Our Benefitz ESR Tensioned Railing System has proven to be the perfect solution.”
A massive advantage of the system is that it is extremely cost-effective and the images are very easy to change on an ongoing basis. As can be seen in the photographs of the Bruce Mason Centre the image also sits very tidily and flush on the building.
The Bruce Mason Centre management were also keen to have some flexibility with their event signage so the Benefitz ESR Tensioned Railing System has been configured in a way that they can have one big skin or two smaller skins on each of the 10 x 4 metres spaces.

And another thing… The large PVC printed images are very durable. We can also coat the image with further protection to guard against graffiti and other nasties.
