Milestone for North Harbour Club
THE North Harbour Club Charitable Trust celebrated a huge milestone late last year at the annual AImEs Awards gala dinner held at the Bruce mason centre. The club handed out over $120,000 of AIMES Awards which took the grand total of grants provided by the club since its inception to over one million dollars.
Benefitz has been a big supporter of the North Harbour Club for over a decade with the sponsorship of all graphic/web design, printing and signage. Managing Director Aidan Bennett is also a member and trustee of the club. There are over 120 members of the club, mostly North Harbour based business leaders. Money is raised by these members through sponsorship and social events such as lunches and dinners.
The North Harbour Club was formed in 1995 with the overall aim of rewarding excellence achieved by the young people of the region. The awards are made across six categories; the Arts; Innovation, Technology & Science; Music; Education; Sport; Service to the Community (this is where the name AIMES comes in). As well as these awards the club also now recognises up and coming youngsters in the annual Hayes Knight sponsored AIMES Emerging Talent Awards. Winners must be aged between 13 and 25 years old.

Each Emerging Talent Award Winner received $4,000, with the exception of Jason Bae, who received $2,000 and a recording session sponsored by BigFM102.6
And another thing… The diversity of Benefitz capability was on display at the AIMES Awards Dinner. We were proud to undertake all the graphic/web design for the event and also produce all the signage and printed items. These included:- menu placemats, souvenir programme, table name bands, power point display for large screens, signage, large printed banners. This work is featured elsewhere in this issue.
