Innovative solution for InterCity Urgent truck sides
BENEFITZ printing and installation capability extends to producing massive images for truck sides. A great example was an innovative solution provided recently for award-winning North Harbour based courier company Intercity Urgent.
“InterCity Urgent’s requirement was to have the truck sides quite different,” explains Benefitz Director Mike Nolan. “One of the sides needed to be fixed, while the other side needed to be accessible for loading. Our answer was to use two quite different methods for each side to great effect. The customer was thrilled with the finished job.”
Both skins were printed on the Benefitz HP Scitex XP5300 5 metres wide printing machine. The fixed skin was then installed using the Benefitz ESR Tensioned Railing System by Graham Ranger of Benefitz. The side of the truck that needs to be accessed was then finished with straps, fittings and reinforcing and installed.
“The vibrant printing certainly provides great advertising exposure for InterCity Urgent,” adds Mike Nolan. “When you’ve got the ability to print quality images at these big sizes then the possibilities are endless. The process is also very affordable which is a factor that many potential customers don’t understand.”
And another thing… In addition to PVC vinyl truck sides Benefitz also do lots of adhesives for vehicles. Printing and installation.
