Sensational Summer!

GIllIAN Houser spent 10 years running the Bruce mason centre in Takapuna. Halfway through her decade she discovered the merits of the Benefitz ‘Onestop’ offering. so, in late 2008 when she decided it was time for a change and purchased the iconic Mangawhai Tavern, one of the first people she called was Aidan Bennett at Benefitz. Gillian needed assistance in creating a new look for the tired venue, and then implementing this look across a whole range of items.

“What Gillian has done at the Tavern is quite special,” says Aidan Bennett. “She is a formidable lady so all we have really done is helped her implement the ideas she has had in terms of the branding, advertising and signage. I think she has appreciated the work we have done and how cost-effective it has been. I understand that this summer has been sensational for her which is great. She has worked very hard over the last 18 months so deserves the success.”

Benefitz started with helping Gillian come up with a new logo and advertising style for the Tavern. This was then applied to vehicles and a whole range of signage around the Mangawhai area. All this signage has been printed and installed by Benefitz. This summer one of the Benefitz 2m x 2m advertising trailers was also added to the mix to promote the superb line-up of events at the Tavern over the Christmas/New Year period. Two large blackboard easels were also built by Benefitz to promote daily events and specials. Along the way Benefitz has also built a new website for Mangawhai Tavern and helped with the design and printing of tickets, flyers and posters for events.
