Dallas Does Les Mills SPARTAN
After testing himself in two Les Mills BOOTCAMPS late last year, Benefitz Director Dallas Bennett went a step further when he completed the pilot Les Mills SPARTAN programme earlier this year. He is pictured above (front right) with the Les Mills instructors and other attendees.
Les Mills SPARTAN is a raw, men’s-only outdoor Team Training programme that has been developed to push you way beyond your limits. It focuses on power, endurance and mental toughness, testing even the fittest man. The Les Mills introduction says… You’ll work hard, and you’ll see measurable results… fast!
“I must admit I was a bit daunted at the prospect and it was very tough, but I’m glad I did it,” said Dallas when quizzed on the experience. “I was one of the older guys in the group but I made it through to the finish. It proved a very rewarding experience.”
“Before we started we were told that the programme required 100% commitment, and attendance was mandatory for the whole five weeks. We were required to become part of a tight team with each person supporting the others to work harder, go further, and be stronger. This all happened. I got to the end with the excellent support I received from the other guys.”
Les Mills SPARTAN is named after the ancient Greek warrior-athletes who believed that physical excellence could only be achieved by dedication and determination.
Following Les Mills SPARTAN, Dallas went on to complete another four week Les Mills Bootcamp with 14 others from Benefitz, including his brother and Managing Director Aidan Bennett.
